Hi everyone,

I want to share something that's been on my mind — something I think a lot of you need to hear.

After 30 plus years on the road, I still don't know how everything works.

And isn't that lovely?

When I started out, I thought I had it figured out. After five, six, seven years of training and working, I thought — yeah, I know how this all works now.

I didn't.

And that's one of the most beautiful realisations I've ever had. Because it means there's always more to learn. More to explore. More to discover. And that gives you energy. It gives you excitement. It gives you hope.

You never get bored of this work when you're working with the spirit world. It's absolutely amazing.

But here's the thing — some people think they know it all. And I get a lot of messages telling me this is how it should be, or that's not right, or you should look into this.

Agree to disagree.

Because if you're really willing to explore what energy is about — and you're not narrow-minded about it — you can never, ever learn enough.

This is the most common question we have. And I think every single one of you has asked it at some point.

Is the information coming from spirit — or am I just making it up?

And here's what I've come to understand: it can't be you without the spirit. And it can't be spirit without you. It's a teamwork. It has to be both.

What is the only thing spirit has to work with when it comes to you as a channel? Your imagination. Your knowledge. Your experience of life.

That's what they work through.

So when you tune in and you get a feeling, an impression, a picture in your mind — it comes from your psyche, your knowledge, your experience. Because when you've set the intention to work with spirit and understand the energy they're bringing through, those are the tools they have to work with.

And of course, as human beings, we assume a lot.

Let me give you an example.

I have a fear of spiders. Creepy crawlers — I can't stand them. So if spirit shows me a spider, the first thing that flashes through my mind is fear.

My instinct would be to say: "I have someone here who has a fear of spiders."

But what if it's the total opposite? What if the person in spirit actually loved spiders — kept them as pets, had bird spiders, thought they were wonderful?

I'd be wrong. Because I assumed. I let my own fear colour the information instead of staying with the energy and letting it unfold.

So how do I learn the difference? By getting a no.

I need that no. I need the person opposite me — the client or the audience — to say "no, that's not correct." Because that's how I realise: ah, that was me and my assumption. Not spirit.

And then I learn something. And next time, I'll be a little better.

Here's something I don't think I've ever said quite like this.

In over 30 years of working for the spirit world, I have never felt like I delivered the perfect message. Never.

Every time I work, I feel like I could've given more. Gone deeper. Caught something I missed. I never feel fully satisfied.

Back in the days, that used to destroy me. I would hit myself. I'd think: I'm a lousy medium. I'd punish myself for not being good enough.

Today? I see it differently.

I need that feeling to keep growing. I need it to push me to become better and better at my craft. The dissatisfaction isn't failure — it's fuel.

And this is the part that really breaks my heart.

We are losing so many ambassadors for the spirit world. Good ones. Talented ones.

And it's not because they're bad at mediumship.

It's because they're perfectionists.

They expect themselves to be flawless. They punish themselves for every no, every missed detail, every reading that didn't feel good enough. And eventually, they walk away — convinced they don't have what it takes.

But they do. They just needed someone to tell them: it's okay to get it wrong. That's how you learn. That's how we all learn.

So if you're developing your mediumship and you're sitting there thinking you're not good enough — please hear me. You don't need to be perfect. You just need to be willing. Willing to explore, willing to get the no, willing to keep showing up.

That's all spirit asks of you.
