You know me by now - when someone says "don't do that," I immediately want to try it. This rebellious streak has led me to some of the most transformative experiences of my life.

Why I Chose the Teacher Everyone Warned Me Against

At Arthur Finley College, I asked one of my teachers about another tutor there. His response was immediate: "No, I don't think so. That would not be the right fit for you, Mia."

And what did I do? The first thing I did was sign up for that tutor.

That "wrong" choice became one of the best decisions of my spiritual journey.

The tutor was Simon Key, and she turned out to be a brilliant teacher. She became a good friend, and I even brought her to Sweden multiple times.

Your Inner Compass Knows Best

Here's what I've learned: What's right for me might not be right for you, and what's right for someone else might not be right for you either.

In this business, everybody has an opinion. Never trust any medium completely - including myself - because we can only give advice based on our own experience and development.

Never trust people's opinions blindly. Find out for yourself. You might learn the hard way sometimes, but at least you'll have made that decision for yourself.

Your spirit is your true compass.

Listen to yourself. Follow your own heart, your own spirit, your own soul. That's the only way you'll find your authentic path.
