You’re Made for This—Will You Step Up?

Healing, Hope, and the Courage to Show Up

Dear Medium,

I’ve spent 30 years sitting with people who are hurting—parents who’ve lost their babies, partners missing their other half, folks carrying a quiet ache no one else sees.

And every time, I’ve watched mediumship do something brave and tender: it brings light back into their eyes. It’s not perfect or easy—it’s raw and real.

I’ve seen a mom’s shaky smile break through tears when her son’s spirit showed up, giving her just enough to face tomorrow. I’ve felt a widower’s relief, his shoulders softening, as he realized his wife’s still right there.

These moments—they’re messy, holy, and they change everything. For them. For me.

This work isn’t about me alone—it’s about all of us, the ones who feel that tug to help, to heal, to sit with someone’s pain and bring something good.

I’ve been where you might be right now—scared I wasn’t enough, unsure if I could carry this.

But here’s what I know: that pull in your heart? It’s not a mistake. It’s a whisper saying you’re made for this, even if you’re trembling.

Why This Matters—To All of Us

We’re in a world that’s fraying—people disconnected, grieving, longing for a sign that love doesn’t end.

Mediumship isn’t a show—it’s a lifeline, a way to stitch up the torn places and remind us we’re not alone.

The first time I saw that light flicker back in someone’s eyes, I broke open. I thought, “This is why I’m here—this messy, beautiful thing.”

Thirty years later, it still gets me: every tear that turns to a smile, every connection that ripples out.

It’s not just their healing—it’s ours too. You’ll feel it: the way you grow braver, softer, more whole every time you dare to step into this.

But it’s hard. It takes showing up, day after day, digging into your own courage to be the medium they deserve.
